I used Heffernan for my Insurance and Bonding needs twice when I started NEW companies...They were flawless...on time..competitively priced...and easy to deal with.
This shady business is not located in OR. They are in California although that might be another one of their fake location. This the most unprofessional company I almost did business with. They lie with zero reservation.
I originally signed on with a smaller insurance company years ago that ended up being bought out by this larger, less personal, corrupt organization that is associated with Zoom Auditing Services who then turned around and tried to extort several thousand dollars a year from me for making more money than the pathetic policy was actually covering me for!!! My building, business and personal life insurance have been brokered my this company. They shop for me and communicate most adequately. I have had many negative encounters with other agents (and some good too) but have been very satisfied with Heffernan's service. They have gone the extra mile in answering questions regarding both the policies with them and my other coverages. Highly recommend!
I did not feel like my agent was trying to find me the best deal for individual car insurance- I asked her to look around at other companies for me but she didn't answer my emails. I decided to cancel and found cheaper car insurance on my own through Geico. The insurance company I had through Heffernan (Travelers) continued to charge me for my old policy and when I contacted my agent, she made me do the leg work to figure out how to get a refund. I was not impressed with the customer service to say the least.
