Dr. Hedges is very compassionate and while the clinic is certainly nothing fancy. Dr. Hedges is excellent at communicating with you about what is wrong with your pet and possible treatment options. I used to work here and I learned so much from Dr. Hedges and I am grateful that I had the opportunity to work here.
Kind, professional and compassionate office. Knowledgeable and dependable service in Three Rivers for years. I would not hesitate to take any pet there.
I have been bringing my pets to Dr. Hedges for 15 years, except when we lived out of state and have never had anything but amazing service. I have a medium dog who is extremely nervous, last March he was due his rabies vaccination. I can’t say how much I appreciate Dr. Hedges patience and care. He got down on the office floor with my husband, helped wrangle (in the gentlest way) our skittish boy and gave him his shot. Above and beyond where as with this particular dog I have had vets demand a muzzle on him. Dr. Hedges was ki... read more
I used to bring my dogs in the past here. Today I brought my Alaskan Malamute after trying 2 other places. I should have known to have just brought him here in the first place. I absolutely love it there. All 4 staff when we walked in were great and friendly and Dr Hedges actually took time to listen to me and watch me walk him and stuff to see what issues we’ve been having. Way better experience in 10 minutes than any other appt I’ve had anywhere else #HedgesForLife
I took my America Pit-bull Terrier in for the first time and even with the short visit I felt very welcomed and comfortable. Definitely a refreshing feeling after having a hard two years of finding a veterinarian office that didn’t discriminate against pit-bulls. I will not take my fur baby anywhere else!
I have taken my cats and dogs to Hedges Veterinary Clinic/Hospital since the 1980's and as recently as 2-3 years ago, receiving absolutely fantastic service by caring and kind individuals. As my last pup kept growing and growing (and growing some more), I asked Dr. Hedges what kind of dog he thought he was. Not knowing for sure, he jokingly replied, "I think he's part horse." Well, I recently came across an article and videos about Mongolian Bankhars, thought to be one of the earliest if not the earliest domesticated dog. My... read more
Call them this morning to get my puppy in for a rabies shot/spay. The receptionist said that because her previous vaccinations were from TSC that she would have to be revaccinated. Not ideal but no biggie. I go to ask is there are any risks associated with revaccinating and the receptionist cuts me off, says “you know what, why don’t you find a different vet” and hangs up on me.... don’t take your animals here unless you enjoy being treated like crap!
People that care. And they're reasonable. We're customers for life.
