Dr. Hecker is the most impressive individual I have ever met! In my experience with her (eye surgery) she exhibited knowledge, skill, and experience unmatched at any level. She and her staff were extremely helpful to me, and I recommend Dr. Hecker with heartfelt gratitude for the entire experience I had at Hecker Ophthalmology.
The wait times in Dr. Hecker's office are too long, averaging 4+ hours. Then when you finally see the doctor, she seems rushed & uninterested in your concerns. Last time I needed an appointment, I was told I had to see an associate instead. I finally decided that to go to a different eye doctor in a different office in Greensboro. He is more caring and his wait times are much less.
My appointment with Dr Hecker was very professional and was attentive to my needs. My follow up visit is next week
I had a great experience having both of my eyes done. Dr Hecker and her entire staff kept me informed regarding my eye surgery.The next month had surgery on my other eye. It was a great success and I would happily recommend Dr. Becker ! Thank you so much !
She listens well and gives excellent advice when there are difficult decisions to be made. She presents all options well and then lets the patient decide the plan of action, but from a place where you are well informed. She is an excellent surgeon. I had cataracts removed. After the surgery I went to a local optometrist who had no connection to her and his first words were, Wow, what an excellent job your surgeon did. Who was the doctor? I have excellent vision now, 20/20.
I went in for a laser procedure and as you would imagine I was scared out of my mind. I had read so many things online that could go wrong. Dr. Hecker and her amazing staff explained everything to me so clearly that all doubt was cleared from my mind. I even had my technician hold my hand during the procedure, which only took a few minutes and I had worked myself up for no reason at all. With that being said I would absolutely recommend Hecker Ophthalmology to my friends and family!
