My son booked a sleigh ride as a surprise for his girlfriend. She loves horses and he wanted to have them included in his promposal for her. We booked it when there was snow on the ground. Unfortunately, when the day arrived, no snow. The staff was wonderful and switched to a carriage ride complete with sleigh bells. Will, their driver was very sweet, allowed us to drop off a sign and flowers before hand and had them set up beautifully for the ride! She loved it! I have used Heberle Stables for horse back rides through Ellison Park, sleigh rides and most recently a carriage ride. Family from Georgia was visiting at Christmas time and we wanted to give them (and especially our 9 and 7 year old grandchildren) an experience they would remember. We had some snow but not enough for the sleigh ride but instead Heberle was able to offer a carriage ride. As I have found on previous occasions the experience was wonderful and one of a kind.
