Machinery was locked. I thought maybe the kids could at least climb in them but it was just 2 machines locked and a bunch of dirt. Not what I expected but I guess to some it might be fine. **UPDATE: Thank you for your reply. I realize maybe it was my misunderstanding perhaps and have updated my review since you took the time to explain. Google stated it was open and booking was not required so I drove 30 minutes with my kiddos to find it unusable. Had a blast! Went with my son-in-law and it was a great friendly competition. The "race" was the most fun part. I have always wanted to operate a piece of equipment like this and this fulfilled kind of a life-long dream. The guys are extremely nice and a lot of fun. I highly recommend Heavy Metal Playground for an afternoon of great fun.

This visit was a 70th birthday gift from my husband as I’ve always wanted to play with construction machinery. Heavy Metal Playground didn’t disappoint, and we really had a blast.
