Love this shop so very much! It has been what I call my home town LYS even though I grew up in Newport, Maine & now live in Nebraska! It always feels like coming home! They variety is amazing & I just love everything about it! Excited to come home in the next month or so & check out the new shop! It is a must stop if you are visiting Maine or looking for a wonderful LYS!!
Heavenly yarns is the best place to buy quality yarn. The selection is varied with many from local spinners and luxury yarns too! There are also mainstream yarns for beginners. The best prices anywhere. Needles, patterns, unusual buttons,etc. Best of all are the friendly, knowledgeable staffers who can answer all your questions! Now with a beautiful new sunny space, I can’t wait to go again!
This turned out to be my first stop on our New England Fall Colors & Yarn Shopping Spree. I bought two skeins of locally produced yarn (from Good Karma Farm) and just finished the project this morning. A Celtic-inspired braid/cable scarf. Loved the yarn, would shop there again!
A multitude of great yarns in a tiny store. The owner is usually there and she's an expert in all things yarn. I can never get out of there without buying something beautiful, useful, or both!
