Dr. Sung is the most compassionate doctor I have ever met who cares for the illness as well as the mind and emotions that accompany end of life. The support she provided my dying father, as well as our family, can only be described as extraordinary. She truly listened to my dad’s fears and was able to soothe him, provide guidance, and bring peace in his waning days. She is a true gem.

Dr. Sung recently made all the difference in the care of my friend's mother who was dying of end stage pulmonary disease. When she was coming to terms with hospice, Dr. Sung helped with symptom management and getting the medications in place while we helped her understand and accept the end of her illness. Thanks to Dr. Sung, she died in comfort, and her family was supported through a very difficult process

Dr. Heather Sung is beyond a physician; she is the essence of humanity. My mother was a patient in Dr. Sung's care for 2 months before she passed away. Dr. Sung treated my mother as though she was her only patient. She took the time to learn about my mother and our family on a personal level, wanting to know us beyond my mother's illness.
