She is an amazing neurosurgeon. I trusted her completely 5 years ago when my neck was fractured in a serious accident. I made a full recovery. At the time of treatment I was also struggling with PTSD and she was so kind and understanding. Took time to answer any questions I had and the office always got back with me quickly if I called in with a concern. I am so grateful that I was her patient.

My 87 year old father fell and broke his neck. His break was beyond life threatening and many were shocked he even survived. Dr. Kistka performed his 7 hr surgery and literally saved his life despite the delicacy and his age. She is a Boss! Smart, capable, down to Earth and blunt. Rock star care from her and her surgical team. Cannot thank them enough.
Dr. Kistka didn’t offer me any advice or options to help relieve my migraines, which was the reason for my appointment. She made me feel like my visit was an inconvenience to her. I felt this visit wasn’t only a waste of my time, but also a waste of my copayment. I left feeling very frustrated and discouraged. Given this experience, she isn’t a doctor that I would ever plan to see again.
