In looking for an alternative to breathe new life into our fireplace, Russ and Mike at Heat Survival are very knowledgeable on pellet and wood burning stoves and inserts. They helped us understand what we need to update our fireplace, chimney, and hearth. Definitely recommend you see them for your supportive, and even primary, wood and pellet heating needs.

I hate to give a 3-star review to a small, local business, but Google won't let you do 3.5, and 4 is too high. If it weren't for the installation, this would be a better review. Bill was knowledgeable and gave me a good deal on my stove. The installer he sent over, however, was awful. He left garbage in my yard, left holes in my wall, and didn't even caulk the outside of my home. In fact, he said "you're gonna have to caulk that." Bill was very knowledgable and helpful. The quality and performance of the Jotul stove he recommended continues to exceed my expectations. He also went out of his way to be sure that I received the rebate offered by the manufacturer when I made the purchase last year.
