Wonderful budding Dhamma & retreat center. I'm glad I made the 2+ hour drive to check it out. I'll be going back for sure. Venerables Pannavati & Pannadipa are both personable straight shooters with deep knowledge and experience. *Update* I've attended a few retreats here and must say the accommodations, staff, food, and atmosphere are all great.

Just getting home from an amazing retreat. This place is amazing! Venerable Pannavati and Venerable Pannadipaare true embodiments of the BuddhaDhamma. The staff is dedicated and so friendly, always ready to ensure that your time reflects the values of a community based in wisdom and kindness. Go and see for yourself, you will not be disappointed!

Just came back from my first silent retreat at Heartwood guided by Ronya Banks and Jack Hannibal. What a wonderful, beautiful, peaceful place to be. The crew is quite small, but they are so warm and passionate about their jobs, and they make retreatants' stay very comfortable with their loving and respectful simplicity. Food was amazing, and the room was comfortable. I'm so happy this place is only 2.5 hours away from me because that is totally doable.
Great hospitality. Great teachers. Great opportunity.
