Zakiyya, you are not alone. Just like you, we are good foster patients and we gave high quality life to our toddlers. As soon as judge asked to get lawyer for adoption, they played trick and took back our babies. They messed up them and separated. They even lied in Court and suspended my license. They are a great agency, not only for their clients but to their staff as well.
The coworkers that I work with are amazing and they are very supportive.
The only good thing about this place was the co workers I met. The management was terrible and they would hold probation over your head instead of teaching you. We all ended up quitting in our caseworker cohort. I do not recommend.
I came here on several occasions for substance abuse services. By definition, I'm not even technically an alcoholic which it would have been nice to know after years of meetings. Very saddened to hear other people's experience of dealing with this agency. As someone who has lost a child to adoption, I undestand implicitly the trauma associated.
