Roger & Pam Barnlund have been avid pet lovers their entire lives using a variety of different kennels to care for their dogs while away from home. After settling for mediocre kennels they decided there was a need for a boarding kennel that puts the pets needs first, consisting of a clean, quiet, comfortable and safe environment for pets to stay while their owners are away. We boarded our two standard poodles at Heartlund for a week. Heartlund came highly recommended, and we were not disappointed! When we arrived, someone met me at the car to help me with the dogs and get us checked in. The facility was very clean and very well organized. When I picked the poodles up, the staff showed a genuine interest in them, and Edward and Gretta appeared so happy that I was not sure they would want to go home with me. We will be return customers--thank you!!!

This was the first time I have used Heartlund Kennels for our puppy, Howie. I had received several great recommendations from my coworkers. I had absolutely no doubts that Howie was in caring hands. To me what stood out about Heartlund Kennels is the customer service I received. My husband who is in the Mn National Guard and who was in uniform had dropped off Howie on his way to Camp Ripley. Tonight when I picked up Howie, I was given a military discount without even requesting one. To me that speaks volumes for your company... read more

I'm one of those crazy dog ladies that hates leaving my fur baby with others. I actually used to work at a boarding/daycare facility, but did not like the way things were handled there. After quitting, choosing a new place for Calvin was hard, but I decided to try it out here and I'm SO HAPPY with the service.
