Roger & Pam Barnlund have been avid pet lovers their entire lives using a variety of different kennels to care for their dogs while away from home. After settling for mediocre kennels they decided there was a need for a boarding kennel that puts the pets needs first, consisting of a clean, quiet, comfortable and safe environment for pets to stay while their owners are away. RecommendedSo happy with how things went at Heartlund! One of our two dogs needs special treatment since he doesn’t get along with all dogs. They were happy to try and see how things would go. It was especially nice knowing he would only be let out with our other dog so I wasn’t worried of anything happening (we’ve had issues with another facility with not following our instructions for them to only be let out together). We boarded our lab Huxley for a short weekend and Heartlund did not disappoint!! When we arrived, someone met me at my car to help with Hux so that I could get checked in. The facility was spacious, clean and well organized. When we picked Huxley up he seemed very well taken care of and they bathed him before pick up as well! We will definitely be returning! Thank you!!

Very nice people to work with. They love the doggies just as much as the owners. Very reassuring, comfortable, and good at answering any questions you might have. Definitely will board our 4 dogs with them again. (We also were in a bind and had a last minute travel weekend planned and they made it work)

Our dog jack just got back from a 10 day stay there and came home very relaxed and happy. No unusual behavior and he also smelled great- a sign of a very clean kennel! Thank you! We look forward to more stays there!
