If I could do 0 stars I would. We submitted a claim in the second week of May, and it's almost August, and we've still yet to get an estimate or any kind of communication directly from Heartland (specifically Dylan) about it. My insurance broker has even reached out to them, and even they still haven't got a response. We set up two appointments to have someone come give us an estimate and the Heartland rep no called/no showed on both occasions. Every storm we get, my roof's shingles just keep crumbling. I would never recommend this insurance company. Unless you don’t plan on ever needing insurance, then it might work for you. I happily switched to a company that charged me twice as much, after dealing with Heartland. We were hit pretty heavily by a tornado, and after six months of fighting and begging, we finally finished our claim and it sucked.

The team Heartland Mutual Insurance Company has some of the finest Insurance professionals and knowledgeable staff we have ever had the privilege to work with. When you desire that "personal touch" from your Insurance carrier, I would highly recommend giving Heartland Mutual Insurance a look. They have many insurance brokers throughout Illinois and have Great Communication when working with Heartland Mutual.
