Horrible experience with Sally Freeburn who threatened to "discharge" my dad "with or without a place to go" because I wasn't able to sign documents fast enough for her, the whole situation was disgusting and the administrator Kellie Wenk of the facility tried to sweep it under the rug and refused to acknowledge what Sally said or help in any way.I have had Sally and the social worker Cailee O'Shoney both threaten to have my gaurdianship removed for my father because the aren't getting paid by Medicare. The staff at heartland hospice was incredible during our stressful time. I couldn't of asked for a better place to help during my cousin time on hospice. The staff went out of their way to keep him comfortable and out of pain until the end and also made him happy during his final hour by doing something he wanted done that wasn't necessary. They help family understand what would happen and answered any question we had and kept us well informed. I would recommended Heartland hospice to anyone in need of hospice care.
