Heartland Horses & Handicapped, Inc was founded in 1998 on the vision and aspirations of Sandy Kuhn. She believed that by using horses to challenge perceived limitations of children and adults with disabilities that they would learn and grow, therefore improving their lives tremendously. Beginning with one horse and a handful of volunteers, sessions began in the local 4 H facility. I visited these folks today on their veteran day this facility is truly amazing with what they have to offer veterans as well and anyone to watch a friend I know is struggling with PTSD smile like he didn’t have a worry in the world today on his first trip here was amazing I will be back very soon and look forward to telling other veterans about them

We love this place! Jessie is amazing with my daughter during her lessons. And their stalls and horses are always well taken care of. Very professional. Definitely 5 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I recommend them to anyone. My daughter loves this place and can’t wait to volunteer.
My horse lucky has boarded here for 5 years and they use him for the therapy program and I love everyone and all the horses , I'm glad they can use my horse for the kids I know the horses make them happy and they make me happy too . Thank you for allowing me to keep my horse here and be part of something great
