Should be called HEARTLESS EXPRESS!! If you work for CFI, Smith, or Millis Trucking, get ready to have your loads "transferred" over to HE drivers You'll sit for days, making no money, because as the parent company, their drivers take priority on loads!! Heartless Express did hostile takeovers of those other companies to get more loads for THEIR drivers!
I'm making this review for drivers that are frustrated with trying to find the right place to be and are constantly mislead by "promises" these companies make to keep us making millions for them. Heartland express has a lot of potential so much they are capitizing off their own drivers. They have good equipment and keep you running but at a very low cpm. Dashcams and micro management. I celebrate 1 year in Sept. 1st '24. The pay is a little low however they tell you that going in. But in exchange for lower pay I get dependable freight I do the same thing virtually every other week I'm home consistently and I like the route. I'm never pressured on time or to make a delivery. I'd rather have brand new equipment that's safe and a consistent route then go OTR 48 states for 3 weeks at a time. I'm home every weekend for a 34 hour restart that works for me and my family.
