Got hired on as a Quality Assurance specialist. Was good in the first few weeks of the job. Regular hours, was getting hands on experience in my job duties that I signed up for, got along with management who were respectful and helpful. The work culture is a bit toxic, as immediate supervisors are people who earn it due to knowing their role and being good people to staff. My 18yo son started his first job here. With next to no training, he made one part his whole 1st day of orientation before starting on night shift. Told to get started, he began making what he was taught completely unsupervised, after 5 hours they decided hes making the wrong part, and screamed at him in Spanish (barely any English here) and escorted him out. My significant other started work here and worked for 3 weeks, they let him go bc manager didn’t do their job and clock him in. He didn’t even get his badge those 3 weeks bc HR apparently can’t type on the computer and hold their breathe at the same time. He also set up direct deposit and they can’t even manage to do that. Heartland aka heartless is not worth working for. And to all the people saying “I love my job” it’s probably bc you got the laziest job that heartless can offer.
