RecommendedI was the Health Services Director at Heartis Eagle Mountain. I recently left to spend more time with my family (including a special needs child), but I left a piece of my heart there. The staff is very caring and conscientious. It all starts with the Executive Director, who has a heart of gold. The food is wonderful, thanks to the amazing Dining Services Director and her staff. I would think twice before putting a loved one at this facility. Domingo (Director of nursing) blacklisted a wound care nurse from the Heartis facilities because she has tattoos. I know personally that this nurse is fantastic with her patients, very professional, provides over the top care, and works hard to build trusting relationships. We have been very disappointed in the medical care that our family member has received at Heartis and we have never been able to meet the doctor on staff. It is evident that clothes do not get washed as promised, our loved one's room and bathroom never look or smell clean and the hall carpets smell strongly of urine. Housekeeping and attitudes have gone downhill along with the pride of the facility and proper care health, cleanliness and hygiene of the residents. So sad.
We have had our mom there for nearly two years and have been happy with the environment. We are hopeful that the current management will be long term as we have met a variety of staffers in our tenure.
Don’t place your loved ones here. The staff is on a permanent revolving door to include the directors. Their alarm system is sketchy at best. My mom spent overnight on the floor, yelling for help when the alert button failed to work properly. The overnight staff never heard her. I was told, “our alarm system is down and no one checked on anyone overnight”. Excuse after excuse, unqualified people, new facility not cared for. Not worth the money or worry. Don’t choose based on convenience, you’ll be sorry.
RecommendedTheir team will go above and beyond to accommodate the needs of their residents and families! I have worked in the senior living industry for 14 years and am thoroughly impressed with their professionalism and dedication to their residents and families!
This place is horrible. The treatment my father received there was the worst. I would never recommend.
