Although we made the mistake of ordering our cabin kit from another supplier Hearthstone stepped in to store and deliver the wood materials when the "other" company "could not complete delivery"! Hearthstone was a pleasure to work, with great communication skills and experienced suggestions and ideas from Wyatt Valentine and the truck delivery driver, Terry, which made delivery as painless as possible. Logs have shrunk to the point of air leaks throughout the house making it hard to keep warm this winter. Just paid 600.00 power bill.During course of building our house,logs got wet and in a short while we were fighting a mold problem. One wall in our house has bowed from the base to the top of wall,almost 2 inches. Very disappointed that Hearthstone did nothing to help us resolve the problems.
Experienced personal tour and detailed explanation of facility. Chris Wood is the best. Have lived in a Hearthstone house almost 30 years.
