My old gas logs bit the dust and I went to Hearth and Patio Shoppe to talk to them about new logs. Larry spent a lot of time with me explaining the differences between vented, direct vent, and vent free options. I settled on vented..the Hargrove Gas Logs Radiant Heat Series. I love it. Not only is it beautiful but it puts out enough heat to warm my living room despite the fact that I have a loft above it. The installer was very nice also. They were extremely nice demonstrating the gas logs. Larry Traylor and his mother, Mary seem to be the only employees. They are happy to take 100% of your money up front. The installer did an excellent job in a timely manner. The problem is this: Heaven help the customer if you need to call to ask for assistance or have a question after the sale. They cannot get you off the phone fast enough, saying they will call you back. The call never comes - is this the kind of service anyone who pays over $1500 for gas logs deserves? I... read more
We are so pleased with our new custom fireplace doors from H&P! Thanks to personal service and great suggestions from Larry the owner, we love the way the doors look and how well they fit our fireplace and add to the feeling of our room overall. I originally contacted Bon Air Hearth and after waiting several weeks for their salesman to respond with a quote I gave up on them and went to Hearth & Patio Shoppe. I should have started here because Tricia and Larry were very helpful and their customer service exceeded all of my expectations. I had my fireplace installed and working in about a week and am completely satisfied. Don't waste your time with Bon Air, go directly to Hearth & Patio Shoppe!

AWESOME! Our addition was extremely complex with nearly every component custom. Larry and his staff were tremendously helpful, walked us through all options and the process step by step.
