Horrible experience. This company is incredibly misleading and predatory. I flew in to see my grandmother on a Sunday (an emergency) - 2 days after she was given Ativan and Morphine (on a Friday) without my mother's consent (my mother was her power of attorney). My mother immediately asked them to stop all doses on Saturday and I immediately flew in to see her as she'd taken a terrible turn and couldn't speak (I'd spoken to her on the phone that week prior to Friday). TAKE NOTE: Horrible Morphine ~ experience with Heart to Heart Hospice here in Jasper, IN. They literally managed to kill our Mother, Lois Oxley with Morphine and Ativan, less than 14 hours after signing up, the day before! {14 hours} later! Incoherent once given these two drugs at the same time to a 91 year old. . . Lopped over in her recliner, early the next morning. Heart To Heart killed my mother Lois Oxley on 12/14 Kathy Luegers spoke with my sister after signing the papers and guaranteeing my sister that she would speak w her before giving morphine the next day my mother was unresponsive in her recliner and after speaking w the RN she stated she gave my mother morphine and Adavan for anxiety you don’t give that combo to a 91 year old lady look at the PI.
