Heart to Heart hospice was exceptional and we can't imagine anyone having made the process at the end any better or easier for my mother and also for us. Rachael Fuqua came to us in the hospital after my mother's terminal diagnosis and my mother already knew her from having worked with H2H when she needed to put her husband in hospice care about a year earlier. Heart to Heart was truly a blessing. Dad was quickly declining and when I call them they quickly proceed with paper work and visits. Even though it’s was a holiday ! From the intake team to the social worker, pastor etc. it was amazing. Kara our nurse was so caring, she was patient with us and my Dad. Gave such great guidance. I am so livid right now and disgusted. I was completely rushed into getting a person that lives in same hose not related or a friend to me released with hospice care. I spoke on a number of occasions with a Rachel, no last name. She first told me that she spoke with someone other than the MPOA, me, to talk about the patient. Then the next convo we had was to inform me that the patient is being released and consents need to be signed, and also equipment is being delivered. It’s hard to describe the pain of loosing your family member but having H2H has been a blessing to me and my family not once but twice within the last 60 days. I was first introduced to H2H when my biological daddy had to be put into hospice on January 7, 2025 and we choose to do in home hospice.
