Our beloved mother died over 10 days earlier this month after losing the desire to eat or drink. Heart to Heart Hospice of Terre Haute provided excellent support to my family through this incredibly difficult experience. We are especially grateful to nurse Renee, who guided us through my mom's final days, and nurse Babs, who was there when she took her final breath. My sister and I cannot thank them enough for their kindness, compassion, and wisdom.
Long on promises, short on delivery. Had a great Hospice nurse with Heart to Heart. She quit and I was not informed. My 88 year old mother developed a UTI and I had no one to contact. HH contact numbers go unanswered or go to voice mail with no resolution. Currently no nurses in the Lafayette area, and they are woefully understaffed and the patient suffers. My mom passed recently, and we were served by Heart to Heart Hospice for the last week of her life with us. As a nurse, I am picky about health care for my family but had shadowed with Heart to Heart years ago when considering a job change.
