From scheduling to the visit, everything was excellent. The staff was friendly, compassionate, communicative. Pricing was competitive and reasonable. The facility was clean, modern, and very comfortable. Dr. DeHart was amazing. She was knowledgable, informative, and so kind. I love that she had a student training with her. I cannot remember the vet tech's name, but she was also so sweet and so patient with me when I had a bit of a breakdown. She immediately offered tissues and comfort. Dentistry department is the very best. My senior cat has FIV and persistent stomatitis even after teeth extraction. The dentistry team has consistently found solutions to give her pain relief and extend her life.

I had such a good experience with Heart of Texas Veterinary Specialty Center, and I especially want to recognize Emma F. I first called on a Sunday about Jaws, my 3½-pound Yorkie, who was having ongoing GI issues. Emma listened, understood that I was worried, and somehow managed to get us in with Dr. Ashton by Tuesday. We had an excellent visit and felt very good about the care Jaws received. Then Emma went above and beyond for us a second time. I really thought I was going to loss my baby. He has been with me through a whole lot and I couldn't ask for someone to love me anymore then Homer. So when he got so sick l knew there was only one place to take him. They are great with any animal you bring in, and they really are reasonable priced for the services, it round the clock care with a doctor and tech.
