The one nurse, Jackie is very good and knows to follow surgical and doctor's orders. JoAnn, the nurse supervisor, is another story. She DOES NOT follow orders. She actually called my surgeon and told him "I have been a wound nurse for 20+ years and I know more about wounds than a surgeon!" She also called the Wound Center at NMC and argued with a nurse there. She told myself and companion that when she ran the Hackettstown Wound Center, she HIRED Dr. Ubhi. The Heart of Gold caregivers that took care of my mother were truly exceptional. Their loving care and attention enabled my mother to remain living in her home. Whenever I visited, my mother always looked very well cared for and spoke very highly of her caregivers who also became her friends. When I left, I knew she would be safe and that was a big relief for me. When my mother, at age 98, passed away her main care providers attended her funeral. We all hugged and said good-bye. I am the primary caregiver to my brother who needs 84 hours a week of care. I recently broke my arm which left me incapable of caring for him.
