RecommendedBoth locations of Heart of Brooklyn are spectacular. This year they assisted with navigating the conclusion of Steve the cat's life with tremendous compassion and respect and Kleenex. Next, Gary the kitten was not thriving, all the vets and techs and front desk folks didn't rest until he got it together! (more Kleenex) They're also pretty cool on just regular appointment days too. :)
We had our first appointment today. The staff was very friendly and involved. They answered all my questions and provided numerous recommendations and options. They also were very attentive to my kitten. Given that the neighbourhood is a bit mid to high-end, the only reservation I would have is weeding through the pricing, as not to overpay. But it was a great experience.
Well it's been 2 weeks now that my Fatty Cat's been gone and I'm still not used to him not being here. For every sad memory comes the feeling of greatfullness for the final care that he received from Dr Farmer and the entire Heart of Brooklyn Veterinary staff. Thank you all for giving him the best care possible, not wanting to give up and providing the support that my family needed to get through this. They are great, they get to know each pet and owner as a family. A little pricey, but that is fort greene brooklyn for ya. Do not be afraid to say no to some of the extra preventative stuff they suggest. Been taking Artemis since she was 8 weeks old, goldendoodle f1b, Teresa really helped us out in an emergency the other day. Highly recommended!!!
