Dr Mccullum and his staff are awesome! They took time to thoroughly listen to my issues and r theconcerns. I have 4 autoimmune diseases that are possibly starting to affect my heart among other issues. I am a complicated case to say the least. The front desk check in ladies are a little rude. I am following up with further test to get more detail on my possible new heart condition.

I was referred to the Heart Center through the Community Free Clinic. The visit was supposed to be at no expense to me through arrangements/agreements with the Clinic. Obviously, I do not have insurance and I don’t know if this has anything to do with my experience or not. I went to my first scheduled appointment, but was not seen by the doctor because the administrative staff could not seem to find the correct paperwork from the clinic (several inter office/departmental calls were made). I have received great care at THC for several years, but I find their handling of prescription pre-authorizations in 2025 to be very poor. My PBM removed one of my prescriptions from coverage with several weeks of warning. I spoke with the pharmacy team at THC weeks in advance, and they assured me that the prescription refill was still on track; but my prescription was not refilled as needed.
