I “auditioned” several hearing businesses before choosing Hearing Australia Port Macquarie to provide my aids. Their attention to detail and care of me during this process has been exemplary. All staff members from the front desk to the audiologists are excellent. My aids are working perfectly and I didn’t buy top of the range, nor feel pressured to do so as I felt elsewhere. Very Happy.
I applied for hearings at Port Macquarie and it was through I Care, It's been a while since I made the application I have made two calls to enquire about the result, Last time I called the staff member was off , and would call the next week, which was last week, No call back, I am waiting on the phone for 7 minutes trying to make contact with someone. My elderly friend in Garden Village has been without hearing aids since February - she is Gold DVA holder and to day I was told that her upcoming appointment had been rescheduled to June! This is an unacceptable way of treating our seniors in "Care". In 2023 being short of staff is the poorest excuse.
