Excellent with doing test for child. Misinformation from call centre staff and being advised that Medicare can be claimed when at appointment was advised that can’t claim Medicare because they government owned hearing service
Charged $195 for a hearing test despite having a GP referral. Medicare's website quote: "Since 2023, June 1st hearing tests performed at Hearing Australia are covered by Medicare upon producing a referral from a GP (not just an ENT)". This was disputed with the secretary and she provided zero proof that I legally had to pay out of my own pocket for the test and simply shrugged her shoulders. We’ve had such a great experience with Hearing Australia in Lismore. Sam has been absolutely wonderful with Luca and so patient and kind with his sisters who often come along to appointments too. It makes such a difference having someone who is so engaging and understanding with the whole family. We also really appreciate all of Brit’s expertise and support along the way.
