Simply divine. Sausage roll, mash and gravy, and fish and chips are my go to.
Real meat pies, it’s all good, better than good actually, just do it, you will not be disappointed!
I really enjoyed my lunch at this unassuming pie shop a little off the beaten track in Decatur. They hand-make small batches of pies, including steak-and-mushroom (pictured, delicious!), chicken pie and a couple of vegetarian options. They've commissioned their own NZ-style lager on draft, which is a nice accompaniment to the pies. You order at the counter and find a table, inside or out. I ordered the Steak & Stilton and Curry Goat pies to go. Great service. The pies are delicious! I'll be coming back to try more of the menu.
