I have been to see Teslin Mathews and have left rather traumatised. She diagnosed me with Borderline Personality Disorder without telling me and without doing the diagnostics for Borderline. I only found this out later when I saw my MD. She was patronising and rude in every session I had with her. Between $100 and $600 for an appointment? And when told them i couldn’t afford that, I was asked “you can’t even afford $160 out of pocket expense” Not sure if they understand what a pension is and how little money we get to survive.

Don’t bother trying to phone. At 4.45 you’ll ring and they’ll have already gone for the day and not left any allowance for leaving a message. The psych Dr Mathew (see reviews - plural - about her below this as well) sees you for ten minutes and charges $150 and if you want a report from her it’ll be $500. The path is lovely but not there all the time of course. The reception staff are lovely face to face but it’s poor management when you need to speak to someone and can’t, even though it’s in office hours. Also bad that any ... read more
