I was also given thyroid medication when I don’t believe I needed it. I have had long term symptoms because of it lasting years.
I've been trying to contact Dr. Prewitt and her office for 2 weeks. I've left voicemails, sent texts and emails and I haven't received a response. I call numerous times throughout the day and I constantly get their voicemail. I spoke to someone one time & she assured me that she would speak to Dr. Prewitt regarding my issue and still to this day, I haven't heard back from anyone. In my opinion this is very unacceptable and unprofessional.
I did not have a good experience with this clinic or Dr prewitt. I initially went in for an appointment, and they told me I needed an ultrasound. I waited weeks and never heard back. I had to follow up myself just to get it scheduled. Once I finally had the ultrasound, it came back abnormal. I immediately tried calling the clinic to schedule an appointment to speak with the doctor. Every time I called, I was told the doctor was unavailable and that they didn’t know when she would return. Dr. Prewitt is awesome, she has the best bed side manner. She makes you feel at ease. I just love Dr. Prewitt and her staff. She cares about you not only as a patient but as a person!
Went for my first annual check up in Dallas with Dr MaryAnn Prewitt and to say I will never schedule here again is an understatement. The previous bad reviews I read were all true. It took 3 reschedules to finally see the doc. After the appointment in June, I never got my results. I called maybe 6 times over 3 months, left maybe 3 voicemails, sent two texts. Nothing.
