Hard to get through, had to get a passcode faxed to speak to someone, got the passcode, spoke with a Sheryl, she said I had to go to UMR dept to get the surgery approved, gave me the number called, used the same passcode kept hanging up on me had to Google the main number for the Corp. Got someone on the phone to complain. Still on hold for 20 minutes. No resolution. Patient care is not their priority, feel sorry for people who have this insurance!!! Make it easier to get surgeries approved!!
Horrible Horrible insurance!!! They don’t want to help you they just want your money!! I have no choice but to rate it a 1 star because there is no 0!!!
I have Healthscope Benefits through work. I wish I had never signed up. They have no problem taking money out of my check every week. They have no problem saying it can't be cancelled until renewal. The only problem they have is paying. Apparently, one must submit receipts, etc before Healthscope will consider paying. So be prepared for a lot of work if you want them to pay. Just handing the card to the doctor or paying the SimplePay account isn't going to cut it.
