I am a pregnant woman. The day before yesterday at 5 PM I arrived at the hospital with contractions. I was dilated 1 centimeter and I went with my 3 children since I have no one to leave them with. The nurse who attended me told me that she would give me an injection called Tumbeline, which was supposed to stop the contractions for at least 1 or 2 more weeks, but she lied to me because yesterday I went back with contractions and I was 3.5 centimeters dilated. The line is insane during the winter but eventually I did get in... saw Dr. Ponder. He was professional and attentive. Got a medicine that got me through to my specialist appointment. Good doctor. Many of the nurses were nice too. It's just the wait that is insane. 6 hours.

My wife is 18 weeks pregnant and we were down here on vacation and started bleeding while on the beach. It was the closest hospital so we were stuck going here and it was awful. There was no urgency to get my wife looked at while she was still bleeding through a towel we brought from the hotel. It took over 3 hours to get an answer after my wife is bawling her eyes out to the ultrasound tech.They don’t allow anyone to go back with you.
