This is the worst insurance company I have ever dealt with, cancer itself is nothing compared to trying to get this company to pay for any necessary procedures, I’d like to meet the doctors that work for this company because they seem to think they are far more knowledgeable than mine
Thankfully we are no longer on employer provided medical insurance as we are 65+years old. I submitted vision claim in august 2021 no reimbursement despite numerous calls. Customer service indicated replacement check needed to be reissued went through that 3 times until late December. Finally check appeared and was void upon receipt as they expire after 135 days and check dates never updated. They're not even worth the one star! Useless and expensive..... Canceled my policy, now told 60 days to refund my money but FAST sending the cancelation notice to me.. Run from the hamster wheel of Healthgram! Don't walk!
I used to work for BCBS..so I am all about getting my benefits BEFORE a procedure. I called the day before my root canal and was quoted benefits....However, I just got the EOB, Healthgram covered the procedure, but not the crown. When I called back, the same rep that originally took my call told me that I never asked for crown benefits!!!!! That is part of the procedure!!!!!! How tricked do I feel!!! They will make every excuse not to pay the claim. Then you get sent to collections then they want to pay the bill. What a joke
