HealthDrive Eye at Waveny is useless. It would be helpful to look for disease, glaucoma, etc for an dementia patient. IT IS MANDATORY THAT AN ATTENTAND AT WAVENY AID IN THE EXAM. My loved one refused drops, so got a useless refraction test. Hell if she saw the E, she couldn't tell you. Would like to attend testing, but never notified. Only get the bills. They can't deal with patients who have family that love them.
This company provides eye and dental care to my mother's nursing home. Their services are horrible. Do not use them! For eye care they only use an eye chart for an exam. They missed a cataract in one eye and scarring on the other. They provided bifocal glasses where the frame was so small the glasses were useless. It took them months to provide them the glasses. Had an issue with Customer service but it was a misunderstanding on my part. Manager called me back and hopefully the instructions will be clearer the next time someone has to call in and ask for information.
