This place has to have one of the worst ERs around. Patient was taken to the ER at 2 in the afternoon by a friend for mental health issues still by 8 that evening laying out in the hallway on a stretcher. Being her husband I was there at 8 in the evening with food and to see her and they refused my entry to see her. Social worker claimed it was because it was a mental health admission. Had a double inguinal hernia repair done here. The staff was superb. I can't say enough about Dr. Moscowitz, Nursing, and Reception personnel. I felt like a human being, and was impressed with how coordinated and organized everyone was. Extraordinarily, I was able to get my surgery done the same week of my initial inquiry. I felt that the staff were efficient while at the same time polite. The new facility is gorgeous and parking was a dream. Thank you and God bless. You made a nervous patient feel at home.

i had to take my daughter to ER twice within 8 days. every single aspect of care from reception to discharge was amazingly smooth. all the staff we met during the 2 visits were warm, friendly, clear communicators & true medical professionals.

This has to be one of the worst ERs I’ve ever been to in my life. If you’re smart, you go over to Duchess County Hospital, which is way better. I’ve had to go to the ER several times and all I get is a runaround. It’s stuck in the room for 5- hours when no one coming in. I tell you one thing and do another. Nurses are OK but the doctors they could care less. Especially if you’re on Medicaid. Since the hospital doesn’t really make much money on Medicaid patients, they’re certainly not gonna go out of their way.
