This was my last resort. I've been seeking help all month and I finally broke down and went for intake. After 3 hours of questions I never did get to talk to anyone and they handed me a flyer for a closed business and told me to be more proactive. Update: They followed up. I told them the referal they gave me was trash and they suggested that I go to local restraunts and make small talk with customers if I am lonely. This is not care! i used to like coming here when i needed but my most recent time i came the clincian just seemed to not care one bit and i was screaming that i wasnt safe and would hurt myself if they sent me home and yet they dismissed it and sent me straight home without a care in the world. said i didnt meet criteria to be inpaitent so i drove myself 2hrs to a hospital so that way i could get my own help.
Everyone was very nice. No one was dismissive. They had me in a facility same day.
