HRC is an amazing place. Everyone really cares about the patients, and IMHO you could not possibly find better care.
HRC is in a class all by itself! As an intern, I have witnessed, firsthand, the care provided by the staff, interns, and volunteers. Clients are treated with the highest level of respect and care. Interns are treated as family. My training at HRC has inspired, energized and motivated me. Moving forward, I will remember the lessons I learned in what it is to provide support and empathy for others and apply those lessons in my professional AND personal life. I love this place!
HRC is one of a kind. This agency puts a strong emphasis on putting the client first. The staff and interns are truly dedicated to providing the best level of care possible to a population that often goes unnoticed and untreated. Truly grateful to have experienced first hand, the passion and commitment this agency has for helping and spreading knowledge where it is needed.
Committed staff, interns, and volunteers do great work daily working with the salt of the earth, the down and out, those who have fallen between the cracks, even some folks who most [including those folks themselves] have given up on. Someone suggested that a sheep needs to be the agency's logo, that the Health Resource Center is the lost sheep agency. That's true. It is. Donate money now, please. Lots of it, too.
