I'm deeply grateful for the safe and nurturing space Alex creates. His patience and skill in guiding Watsu and bodywork sessions opened the door to deep healing and meaningful self-realizations. The way he cultivates such a profound sense of safety in such a short time is truly an art form. I'm so glad I took this break for myself. His retreat space is serene and beautiful.
Alex is an amazing, nurturing Watsu therapist. But, it’s way more than therapy; it’s an adventure of the body mind and spirit. I can recommend him enough. If you’re in southern Florida, book a Watsu treatment with Alex and you’ll never forget your experience.
I am so grateful for the time and care Alex spent working on me. It was the most awesome massage I’ve ever had. I felt so loved and held and safe in his hands. The combination of Watsu and a regular massage after was just what my sore body needed. I felt an incredible release in my tight neck and shoulder area. For the first time in ages, my neck didn’t feel like I had to strain to hold up my head. My only regret is that I didn’t schedule a longer session!
This was our first time, but visits will become a regular thing. Everything was just as described, only better. Alex is extreemly knowledgeable and caring and respectful of what you bring to the time you spend with him.
The experience I had at Health and Light Institute was just what I needed. Alex is an excellent host and a very learned practitioner in so many modalities. He has a very calming presence, he is a wonderful healer, and he is very open and welcoming if you are staying for a retreat. Absolutely transformational — I will be back!
