RecommendedCompliments to the health department and their med staff and volunteers. The COVID vaccine drive through at Tom Bennet Park was efficient and well run. Being able to stay in my car allowed my father and I to feel safe and secure. The volunteers were helpful, friendly, and informative which took away a lot of concern and anxiety. Also, it is nice to be able to personally speak with the staff at the health department and not just a recording. Thank you. Barbara Colangelo
My mother in laws and her friend who are in their late 80s still haven’t get their vaccine. It’s should go by age group instead of 65 and older which is half the population.
We just completed our second vaccine. We were amazed at the efficiency, organization, and kindness shown to us by staff at both sites. What could have been very stressful was not in any way!! Cudos to all the staff providing this important service!
Thank you Manatee Department of Health for the vaccine event at Tom Bennett (1/29/21). You guys were amazing!!!The DOH and code enforcement staff were Awesome. This page allows for no feedback whatsoever, not through messages or posts. I was trying to sign up for the COVID-19 vaccine online and 5 minutes before both the phone lines and web site crashed. Not a good look during a global crisis!!!!
We recently moved here from out of state. We were told to pick up our children’s immunization report any day before 5 pm. My husband left work early today and got there at about ten to 5 to pick them up. The security guard outside told my husband he couldn’t come in because the person taking temps here already left for the day. Set in this place for almost 2 hours and wasn’t even checked in yet. When I asked why I was told a nurse took our number and we were not in the computer. they put us back in the computer but at the bottom of the list. Employees could care less, there is absolutely no accountability.
Been trying 3 days to schedule an appointment and keep getting told they’ll call me back and still haven’t called me back. Unprofessional af and shouldn’t be playing with people’s health like this
