We started going a few weeks ago. The people are friendly and to be honest it is such a great place for a family to go. Most of the time my husband and kids play basketball while I do my routine, then we hit the pool together. The hours are great and manageable for us as a busy and active family. I would highly recommend it to other families.
I'll be very frank. Just moved to the area and checked it out this week... $99 enrollment and $60/month, I almost died when they told me what they are charging, the place should be condemned. In terms of quality, this is the worst Health Club I have ever seen in my life, it looks like its day passed decades ago and has received no attention since then. joined few yrs ago after new owner took over. quit membership place smelled moldy was filthy. Dust hanging off fire sprinkler, broken sink in bathroom, tile loose in pool and shaky handrail, spiders in pool area. went back year later thinking property improvements were made....and shame milder manor as before. just went up along with annual fee. place is just gross. if you don't mind the ride. workout club in Manchester/Londonderry are nice.
I came to meet my friend who was a member for an afternoon at the pool, and when I signed in they asked if I was a member or a non-member. I stated I was a non member and they charged me $22 total for my son under 2 years and I. After talking with my friend who was a member and realizing I could have gotten a discounted rate, I went back to the front desk to see if they would give back the extra I paid and they said no. The sauna would bring more people in, the women’s bathroom is freezing in the winter (turn on the heat- the kids walk around shivering) and the carpets are moldy and need to be replaced. Alot of these are easy fixes, just need to put some money into the place. Also, the management could be more receptive about sexual harassment in the workout area. They don’t take it seriously and it keeps a lot of young women away.
Great place to get fit. The place is old, the equipment is old but you can have a great workout, you can swim, shoot hoops, or relax in the hot tub. The staff is always friendly.
Was thinking of joining, but the place is a dump!
