I filled out an online form about insurance, and almost as soon as I hit the send button the calls started coming. I thought I was going to get a online quote. The calls were one on top of another. I have called a few of the numbers back and they have all been to Health Choice One. They are originating from many different numbers, mostly from the same area code as my phone number. Just so you know, we don't advertise directly online, we participate in a shared pool where consumers complete and submit an online request form for quotes or information after visiting a 3rd party website, usually based on a google search. That form is then shared with us and 3-4 other companies who call you to discuss options and get you the quotes you requested. That... read more
I jsut contacted the company online under the name "shopchristianhealthplans.com", under the claim that I would get an "online" quote. What I got was a page that that said there were 20 plans available, but NO quotes. I also got an immediate phone call (which I did not answer), and an immediate email asking me to call a number for more info. I consider that fraud. I will never attempt to use this company again.

It doesn't happen often, but sometimes, based on the speed of your internet or mobile phone network, the quotes page may not show up right away or not at all because there is so much data to load with 20 plans being displayed. I am so grateful for this company! Not only for JT who coached me through the entire application process and was able to get me great health coverage, but even the customer service representative (who I can't remember her name) was so helpful in answering quick questions that I had. Applying for health insurance can be so stressful and tedious, but Health Choice One has made that process so much easier. Sells your number to shady insurance companies who spam your phone. I have received over 40 calls in over 6 hours. My phone recognizes all of them as scams. None of these call were from established, recognizable insurance companies (BCBS, Aetna, United, etc). I highly suspect the company is paying people to leave positive reviews or creating positive reviews from phantom customers that do not exist. I went to a depression period and I did not want to do my own insurance. This company contact me and they were able to get me the plan I was looking for. I gave my debit card information and after that I was very ill. Passed 5 months and I went back to my checking account and I noticed I had 4 months of almost $80 dollars getting out of my account. ***** verify to me that HealthChoiceOne was taking from my account a life insurance that I never gave permission to bill me that.
