Health Care Resource Centers (HCRC), has been providing outpatient medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorder for more than 25 years. Our primary focus is on methadone treatment supported by substance use counseling and other recovery services to accommodate under-served populations affected by the worsening opioid crisis.

Don't understand how when a person goes to have surgery and has to go to the hospital to manage pain gets mistreated. Also that if some one comes in with his or hers discharge paper and was told that to bring them when they come in to collect there bottles daily or monthly. They usually good, but lately they have been having issues with their computers and they don't seem to care to want to fix them. They have us waiting for 30, 40 minutes, we have scheduled rides and work to go to. Do they care? No. I just got left because my sceduled ride had to go. They say "what is complaining gonna do? Stop complaining, wah wah wah" well maybe if you got your stuff fixed when this has been an issue ongoing for 6 months-a year at least. I was recently employed at the Northampton HCRC and although I was so passionate and loved my job as a SUD counselor, I had no choice but to resign from my position (after only a year) due to the toxic work environment, and significant decline in client care that I was both being directly subjected to and was witnessing. I tried to avoid resigning and had first tried to speak up about my concerns and/or transfer locations (since this was only occurring at our site specifically). The best of luck to Stephanie C. My only issue is that when I tell the counselor to back off.......They should listen to us humans........The medical staff by my experience is fine.... Always nice....not blowing their " lid "... I'm really reluctant to speak with a counselor now of days
This clinic is by far the best one I have been to!!!! I have guess dosed at the clinics in Greenfield and I gotta say the clinic on Kenwood the nurse there are nice and it wasn't all to packed but the one on miles st is a zoo with not so nice ppl at my clinic (Noho) the staff is wicked nice and not scary at all they try and make u feel safe and comfortable the best they can when I was first trying to go get help to get clean I was so scared idk how it was going to be or if the ppl working there was going to give u them judgm... read more
