Dr Akin is so sweet and I received great medical care. However, the medical coding was random and I was charged more for services than I received. One example, I had to change my appt to a different day (i didn’t know it would be with a different doctor) and they charged me a new patient fee. I reached out to clinic and healogics and they said they couldn’t do anything about it. I have been going back and forth for months. My experience at this wound center was amazing. The entire staff was so helpful, cheerful and caring from the wonderful front desk to the very special nursing staff, I couldn’t have had better care. I can’t say enough about Dr. Akin! She is so attentive, explains everything that she does and has a great personality that puts you at ease when she walks in the room! I feel very lucky to have had her caring for me!! Thank you so much.
