My entire experience with this place has been phenomenal. Never in my life did I expect to be as empowered regarding pregnancy as the people here helped me to feel. Every decision was informed, nothing unnecessary was done, and I feel like my baby and I are more than just numbers, even now. I’m so thankful Healing Passages was available to help me during my pregnancy and birth.
I have gone to Healing Passages for 6 years - well woman care, pregnancy care, home birth with Cosette, and now over 4 years later, still rely on the village of women that Healing Passages has built. All of my care has been personalized, holistic, and evidence-based. As a doula, I see my clients experiencing the same care. I highly recommend Healing Passages for well woman care as well as pregnancy and birth. There is no other care and space like Healing Passages in central Iowa!
I consider myself incredibly lucky to have found this amazing place early on in my pregnancy. Cosette and Carrie are amazing midwives and their team at Willowsong is sheer perfection! The birth center is absolutely stunning and is everything you would dream of having for an out of hospital birth. When we found out my wife was pregnant with our first child I told her we will use any provider of her choice. Willowsong was immediately who she picked, and they have blown my expectations out of the water. The classes they provide are so informative and set your expectations for reality and really prepare you for what to expect.
