i think the healing house sounds like a great program
I have been in Healing House for over 6 and 1/2 years and been blessed in so many ways. When we say welcome home we mean it. This has been a real home to me and truly my God given family. I have experienced so many people gain real transformations from what they were into what God would have them be. Healing House saved my life. When I got here I wanted to die and was planning in it. After a month or so I started looking around the rooms and paying attention to what was being said. Recovery here is guaranteed if you follow Gods plan and work the steps. I noticed that as I looked around the room success didn't come in "cookie cutter" fashion. I volunteer on Tuesday nights and get to see the changes made in the lives of the recovering people at Healing House!
Loved it for a brief moment but there is the issue of remaining fair and objective to ALL people. Certain people are proned to be exited quicker and faster without a "fair trial" than others. They help a lot of addicts and there is wisdom to gain from there but they can be prejudiced at times and they can falsly feed into negative stereotypes for certain people.
