Nobody wants to talk about this stuff, this program allowed me the opportunity to be among people who understood. For that I can’t thank the team enough. Everyone was polite professional and allowed me the opportunity to get control of my thoughts and my life. I couldn’t recommend the team enough.
I was given resources for mental health groups and facilities which led me to find healing heroes behavioral health. I was in the IOP program for 6 months and the resources, skills, therapists, and peers supported me through a really dark period in my life. I would recommend and have recommended this resource to struggling veterans or anyone who fits into the category. For lack of better words, this program saved my life. Everyone involved had been immensely helpful, thoughtful and compassionate. I was veryuch against the idea of therapy, but I'm so happy I took the leap. Every single member I interacted with had immense passion for helping others and I promise anyone considering it, you will find like-minded people, you will find a home
Healing Heroes taught me so much about myself, trauma, values, PTSD, and military trauma. Group therapy is exactly what I needed. All of the therapists are absolutely amazing and have all challenged me (and the group) in different ways for which I am so grateful. Healing Heros continues to give me the knowledge and tools to cope with Trauma, PTSD, PTG, and Cognitive Processing/Behavior. Being around like minded individuals in groups and learning their stories has been another tool that is priceless.
