Dr. Healeys bedside manner is outstanding, he took the time time to explain what he was going to do, I'm scared and he could sense that, He saved my life at my 1 surgery because I had an abscess forming down their, I felt no pain and he was talking with me threw the procedure, at St. Vincents hospital for the second surgery he was always compassionate and caring, he explained what he was doing but this time I had to be put too sleep, he is a great Doctor and I recommend him to anyone???????? Dr Healey performed a colon resection on me for a large tumor. He was absolutely wonderful. He is not only very knowledgeable with his surgical skills, but also Kind, caring and easy to talk to. A true “ prince of a man”.
Went to this Dr. due to what I thought was internal hemorrdhoids. Was informed needed to perform an enama cleanse for internal flexible sigmoidoscopy. After obtaining information about the proceedure, reviews, and risks on the internet. Reviews informed of extreme pain. DO NOT believe this. Proceedure lasted 3 minutes tops. Digital exam more uncomfortable then the sigmoidoscopy. Dr explained the process as it was being performed. No pain and only slightly uncomfortable. Would do again.
He is one of my favorite doctors I've ever had. Pleasant, smart, you know right away and on each visit that he truly cares about the patient. The office staff is amazing and make return visits seem like getting together with friends.
Dr. Healey is a breath of fresh air! He was informed about my condition BEFORE he came in the room, which is highly unusual. He was honest, down-to-earth, extremely knowledgeable and even met with me in his office after my exam to discuss a treatment plan. I truly believe he cares a lot about his patients. Terrific experience! His staff is great also!
